This moth's larvae eat junipers. The adults are variable in appearance; the lines and dots may be very faint or bold, but the shape is fairly unique. The forewings are hooked with an almost straight margin, and the hind wings are round.
Not a pest species as far as I can tell; found throughout eastern N. America
