Chestnut-bellied Sandgrouse
The order Pterodclidiformes contains birds known as sandgrouse. There are 16 species of sandgrouse, and most look very much like pigeons. They have short necks and small heads on large, round bodies. Males are slightly larger and more colorful than females. Their muscular wings make rapid takeoff and long flights possible.
