"A short plant shows off the nicely ruffled, wide open flowers. Three or four flowers per stalk, plus rebloom."

Note that with Siberian irises, rebloom means additional flower scapes rise in early summer shortly after the first flush of blooms. Unlike tall bearded irises, there is no fall rebloom.

Schafer-Sacks irises have won many awards, including 8 of the last 10 Morgan-Wood Medals, the highest award given to a Siberian iris by the American Iris Society.
